Chartered in 1811, Palestine is one of the oldest towns in the state of Illinois. Over the years many interesting events have shaped the course of Palesinte’s history.
Palestine was home to early aviation pioneers the Flying Rousch Brothers.
The Palestine Chamber of Commerce was incorporated March 17th, 1950 establishing the Chamber as a non profit corporation

The 2023 Rodeo will take place September 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. 7pm through 9:30pm with entertainment starting after.
Rodeo times are 7PM thru 9:30PM
Entertainment 9:30PM – CLOSE
Pre-Purchase tickets are $20 Adult, $12 Child, and $14 for Handicap Seating. If you pay at the gate, prices are $24 Adult, $12 Child, and $14 for Handicap seating.
