Mutton Bustin Rules

• Child must weigh 60 pounds or less when fully dressed.
• Child and parent(s) we be notified by the announcer to meet at the southeast corner of the arena by the restrooms.
• Personnel will let the child and parent(s) in the back area to line up.
• Contestants must be at the designated place on-time and ready to ride. No re-rides are allowed if late.
• Pioneer City Rodeo Provides help with children.
• No ropes or spurs allowed to be used or worn.
• Safety helmets MUST be worn by contestants. Parents are encouraged to provide their child with their own, properly fitted, safety helmet.
• Child may only participate in one night of competition only.
• 10 scheduled mutton busters per performance (night). No alternates allowed if any of the kids are no shows.

Entries Open May 1st and close June 30th. You must specify which night you want your child to ride when calling the Chamber Office. We will take 10 kids per night. When the night is full, we will no longer take any more kids.
